All Xbox Game Pass titles confirmed for Tokyo Game Show 2023

Xbox has announced a number of new titles coming to its Game Pass subscription service this year. During a Tokyo Game Show segment on Thursday, the publisher confirmed that Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name will be available to members for free on the first day, November 9. In it Kazama Kiryu, a famous yakuza. Faking his death to protect his family, he dons the black suit once again and works as a bodyguard under the code name “Joryu”. His cover is soon threatened when a mysterious figure with ties to the past follows him, unleashing a frenzy on the streets of Japan as we cut our way through the hordes.

Then get ready to travel to 1860s Japan as Dragon: Isshin!, scheduled to arrive on Xbox Game Pass this year. Don the clothes and weapons of the venerable lone samurai Sakamoto Ryoma to clear your name of murder and in turn restore honor to your family's legacy. Dodge oncoming bullets with your katana, smash refrigerators and deliver red hot pickles to your enemies in this historical adventure once thought impossible by developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. For the uninitiated, this Yakuza game was released earlier this year on PC and console, and now the debut of Game Pass allows members to play for free.

Microsoft's attempt to acquire SEGA may have gone nowhere, but the latter continues to put titles on Xbox Game Pass for easy access. The chibi-style Persona 5 Tactica will also be released on its first day – November 17th – of service, placing the Phantom Thieves in a strange medieval Europe-inspired kingdom whose citizens thrive under the tyrannical oppression of Legionnaires. In addition to the turn-based combat system that depends on planning, the game also brings a new Quest system – a set of special stages that grant rewards for completing them. Persona 5 Tactica will be released on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Meanwhile, the long-awaited Persona 3 remake will be released on February 2, 2024, putting you in the shoes of a transfer student who moonlights as the hero to investigate the Dark Hour.

The original Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy launches on Xbox Game Pass next week, September 26, so you can conduct hard-hitting investigations and fight to save your clients in courtroom battles. All 14 episodes spanning the first three games – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Justice For All and Trials and Tribulations – are included in this bundle. Another highlight was Forza Motorsport – released on October 10 – showcasing its Japanese Hakone racetrack, surrounded by beautiful cherry blossom trees.

We also took a look at Mineko's Night Market, a charming social simulation game that challenges you to uncover the secrets of the mythical sun cat Niko, who has been spotted several times at the foot of Mount Fugu. Solve puzzles, create unique items to survive and compete with your cat in races. It will be released on October 26 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X. Then there's Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, coming out on April 23, 2024 – a classic JRPG experience where you control over 100 playable characters across the war-torn lands of Alraan.
