Oppo A38 has quietly debuted in the UAE. Oppo's latest smartphone has been listed on the company's UAE website, which reveals its design, color options and detailed specifications. The phone has a 6.56-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 720 nits. Available in a single memory variant, Oppo's new phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. It ships with dual rear cameras.

Oppo A38 is listed by Oppo in UAE website, but the price of the phone and the date of sale are not yet known by the company. However, a recent report suggests that the smartphone may be priced around €159 (roughly Rs. 14,200) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone is also expected to debut in Europe as well as India and other Asian markets soon. Meanwhile, the phone comes in two colors namely Glowing Black and Glowing Gold.

The dual-SIM supported Oppo A38 comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 13.1. It has a 6.56-inch HD+ (1612×720 pixels) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 720 nits. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. The phone also has RAM expansion technology that offers additional virtual RAM up to 4GB. The memory of the phone can be expanded up to 1 TB.

For optics, the smartphone is equipped with a dual rear camera, which is located on its rear panel in two circular camera islands. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel AI primary sensor and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. For selfies and video calls, the phone houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera placed in a waterdrop style at the top center of the screen. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SUPERVOOC charging.

Connectivity options on the Oppo A38 include Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), 802.11a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. In addition, the phone has a fingerprint scanner and face recognition for biometric authentication, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor and geomagnetic sensor. Oppo A38 measures 163.74mm x 75.03 x 8.16mm and weighs 190g.
