The iPhone has always been an object of desire and fascination. There is a section of people who just want to have an iPhone. And then there is the section that aspires to have an iPhone. Of course, there's another section that just doesn't want an iPhone, but the first two are the people who line up outside these stores. Take a man from Ahmedabad who arrived 18 hours before Apple BKC to be the first to get his hands on the new iPhone Pro Max. He also bought a pair of new AirPods Pro as well as an Apple Watch Ultra 2. Now you might call him a “fanboy” but there are many like him all over the world. The cult of Apple is still very strong, and the iPhone remains one of its biggest drivers.
brand new store(y)
There is more excitement all around iPhone 15 series because it's the first time iPhones have been sold Apple Stores in India. Earlier this year, Apple opened its first two stores – Apple BKC and Apple Saket – in India. Apple opened both stores two hours earlier for sales. Also, there is still excitement surrounding both Apple Stores. Buying a new iPhone from the first stores in India seems like a big deal. Example: A gentleman who traveled all the way from Bangalore. Or another from Ahmedabad, who had also arrived at the opening of Apple BKC.
Wendy Beckman, Senior Market Director, EMEIA, returned to India to celebrate the launch of the new iPhones and other products in India.
“It's amazing to be back in India to celebrate the launch of our incredible new products with our teams and customers at Apple BKC,” he said. “Our teams are very excited to share the all-new iPhone 15 lineup and our new Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, featuring our first carbon-neutral models,” he added.
Apple introduced the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max with a completely new titanium coating. People are curious enough to just look, even if they don't buy iPhones. A large portion of the crowd at these stores may be “window” shoppers. But one thing is for sure, Apple has managed to create quite a buzz with the iPhone 15 series.
